The New York Giants have selected Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara with the 19th pick of the NFL draft. While the Giants had bigger needs on the offensive and defensive lines, they went with value when the Big 12 defensive player of the year was still available. New York will return starting cornerbacks Corey Webster and Terrell Thomas but the addition of Amukamara gives them depth.
Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska 6-1, 205 pounds Amukamara is a good value for the Giants at 19.

Tiki Barber says his attempt to return to the NFL after four years in retirement is not about money. The 36-year-old former New York Giants' running back has asked the team to take him off the reserve-retirement list in March. The Giants say they will release him once the league allows it. Teams have not been allowed to make roster moves because of the labor fight.
